Bringin' NOLA to the masses

NOLA Brand is a client I inherited when I began my position at FACTOR 10. They have a great king cake that is affordable and ships so fast, even Jimmy John's might get jealous of the delivery speed.

The problem? Their packaging wasn't nothin' special. It blended in with the majority of store-bought king cakes and didn't testify to the quality of the product it was containing. Additionally, their website had launched right before their prior season, so e-sales needed a boost.

The resulting packaging redesign and Adwords spend contributed to an over 1000% increase in online orders and valuable name recognition in a competitive, delicious market.

The brand also expanded into a coffee line (pro tip: king cake and coffee is the breakfast of champions), waking wanna-be and native New Orleanians alike with the quality and recognition that introduced them to the NOLA brand. The coffee was an adventure for me into a new type of packaging, and meeting the grocery requirements plus keeping the brand true to its roots while pivoting to the new product was a rewarding balance to strike. Plus, who doesn’t get excited to see their work on shelves?
